Why is the Unicef Logo represented like it is? Why have we choosen to ally ourselves with this organization? The UNICEF represents many of the different values that we feel are the correct and necessary remarks we need to stand for these days.
The UNICEF logo stands out as one of the most recognizable emblems throughout the world. The values that UNICEF stands for we feel are actions worth immitating and therefore suitable topass from us to others. In a world where role models are harder to find everyday the labor these people do is a task worth communicating.
The olives branches, which represent peace and harmony, the globe, representing all the people of the world, the mother and child, symbolized the nurturing and the emblem of UNICEF. The blue and white are the official colors of the United Nations.
This organization , which is a voluntary funded agency, relies on contributions from goverments and private donors. All of their programmes are based to promote the health and well being of children, this is carried out through different campaigns and efforts such as the Trick or Treat UNICEF box, sponsorship through sports events, musical concerts, Save the Children campaign and the Goodwill Ambassadors.
Other tasks that are developed by UNICEF are AIDS campaign awareness, education efforts towards child survival, improving their way of life, inmunization and child protection.
